Aspen tree bark is creamy white with dark brownish or light grey markings. In the springtime, tiny flowers cluster together creating silvery catkins, which show up before the fallen leaves unfurl. The round to oblong fallen leaves expand in light environment-friendly, then transform brilliant gold in fall.
